All's Well that Ends Well

I don't want this blog to be just a record of the my children's misdeeds and my parenting short-falls - although there would be plenty of material there. So I'll just summarize today by letting you know that we did not have to actually initiate the Amber alert this morning, and the police did not make it all the way to our house this evening.

But we came close.

That's all you're going to give us??? That sounds like a very exciting story, and it really is cruel to whet our appetites like that and then not tell the rest. (Especially for someone who is probably going to stay up most of the night writing a paper and could use a short entertainment break now and then.)

I'm afraid so, Jenny. You'll have to call me for the full version sometime. Preferably not when you're staying up all night working on a paper.

It is nice to know that I am not the only parent that things like this happen to.

I enjoy your blog.

NO WAY! This is CRUEL! You know, my children are such perfect angels (excuse while I choke), I've never ever come close to calling the police to report one of them missing. (Ooops, hang on, my nose is growing). How long are you going to make us wait for the details?

No, Lori, you're definitely not. I enjoy reading yours too! I finally remembered to put you in my links list.
